Longlegs is said to be the scariest film of the year. Starring Nicolas Cage, the horror film has many interesting stories. Starting from the promo video where they show the main star, Maika Monroe when she first met Nicolas Cage who appeared as Longlegs, a serial killer hunted by the FBI, to the inspiration for the character whose appearance is still hidden until now. In an interview with The New Yorker, Nicolas Cage revealed a unique fact about where he got the inspiration for the character Longlegs.Cage would clarify that it wasn’t his mother’s evil or satanic tendencies (which didn’t exist) that he wanted to emulate, but rather her tone and movements, which he said were terrifying to watch as a child. For him, Longlegs was also about paying homage to the woman who raised him. In order to convey a real reaction, Monroe and Cage were also deliberately kept out of each other’s faces.
